Nordic Walking is a type of walking that engages the entire body and can be enjoyed by everyone. Using the body’s natural motion, Nordic Walking incorporates walking poles (similar to ski poles) into your walk. By using poles, you will increase calorie burn by 40%; poles also add balance and stability as well as help reduce strain on joints. First class will teach proper form and demo poles will be available for trial and fit to each participant. Poles will be available for purchase ($65) at the end of the first class.
