Come shop for some great deals, or call REC to reserve your spot if you would like to sell your treasures! Clean out your garage, cellar, and attic and make some money while doing it. Set-up is at 7:00 am. Bring your own table. If it rains, the Yard Sale will be held on Sunday, June 4.Please note refund policy in the back of this booklet. Pre-registration required.

ALL participants (youth & adults) must have a completed & signed Emergency Information Sheet on file in order to participate in REC programs. Registration over the phone will not be permitted without an emergency sheet on file for the registrant. Online registration requires a Waiver Form be electronically signed, however an Emergency Sheet is still required for all participants regardless of how registration occurs.  Emergency Sheets are available online at the REC website under “FORMS” or in the REC office and can be mailed, dropped off, emailed or faxed to REC.

Here are some facts you will need to know about the Andover Yard Sale.


Saturday, June 3, 8:00 am to 2:00 pm.
Set-up begins at 7:00 am. All clean-up and break-down must be over by 3:00 pm.


Spot # _____  Locate your placement on the park map.
Held in The Park at the corners of Bartlet, Chestnut and Whittier Streets.

Staff will be available to point you to the correct spot beginning at 7:00 am. Spots will be marked on the grass along the pathways and lawn sections. If your space is not occupied by 9:00 am, staff reserves the right to fill your assigned space.


Check our voicemail at 978-623-8340 after 5:30 AM for an update.  Rain date is Sunday, June 4. No refunds if you choose not to attend rain date.  


All parking restrictions in the area will be strictly enforced.  You must move your car behind Doherty Middle School after you unload your “treasures” to keep parking available for the paying customers.


Your own table(s) and items for sale. You are responsible for complying with all regulations and statutes regulating the sale of merchandise. This includes being properly licensed and not selling any illegal, dangerous, counterfeit or forged items.

Food Sales     

Food and/or beverages may only be sold at the yard sale with the approval of the Andover Health Department, 36 Bartlet Street, 1st floor. Permits are available in their office for qualified food handlers only.  The Health Department is open from 8:00 am-4:00 pm, Monday through Friday.


Available in the Town Offices, 36 Bartlet Street, 7:30 am to 2:30 pm.


Please do not put unsold items and boxes into barrels in The Park.
Dumpsters, located at the rear of Doherty Middle School, are available for your unwanted
items and cardboard boxes. Place inside the appropriate dumpster and not on the ground.
We have a list of locations willing to accept your unsold treasures on file in the REC office.

DCS Withdrawal Policy

If you call to withdraw at least two weeks prior to the start of the program, we will be able to refund your payment minus a 10% administrative fee for programs that cost $50 and over. That fee will be rounded up to the nearest dollar. Programs that cost under $50 will be charged a flat $5 administrative fee to cover costs of processing.

If you call to withdraw at least one week prior to the program start date we will give you a credit voucher equal to the full cost of the program. REC vouchers can be used towards any REC program. 
If you call to withdraw within one week of the start date of the program there is no refund or credit issued.
