Stand Up Paddle Board (SUP)

Join East Coast Style Stand Up Paddle for a half day stand up paddle boarding program! In this program, kids will be given the opportunity to explore and experience a new world on the water via stand up paddling. Activities will include SUP instruction & safety, swimming, treasure hunting, water & beach games, SUP fitness, eco-awareness, contests, and arts and crafts projects. Every day will be a new adventure! Please wear a bathing suit and bring a towel, sunscreen, and a snack. Weekly program schedule will be passed out to parents/guardians at the first class.

*Registration for the programs above inlcudes the drop in session in the price. Registration for the drop-in portion of the program is not available online or by calling the Rec office. Registration will only be available at Pomps Pond via cash or check ($15/day/person), and only on a space-availability basis. We recommend calling ahead to see if there is space available for the daily drop-in portion of the program. When the program is full the drop-in will not be available for registration.*
 

NEW SUMMER REGISTRATION POLICY: Registration closes one week prior to the program beginning. A late fee of $25 will be charged to anyone registering within one week of the start date of a program. No refunds/credits available to those who register within one week of start date.

ALL participants (youth & adults) must have a completed & signed Emergency Information Sheet on file in order to participate in Rec programs. Registration over the phone will not be permitted without an emergency sheet on file for the registrant. Online registration requires a Waiver Form be electronically signed, however an Emergency Sheet is still required for all participants regardless of how registration occurs.  Emergency Sheets are available online at the Rec website under “FORMS” or in the Rec office and can be mailed, dropped off, emailed or faxed to Rec.
