Entering Grades K-5

Boys and girls are challenged to explore connections between science, technology, engineering and innovation in this hands-on adventure. Build original prototypes and create a personalized motor-powered vehicle, while designing, improving and analyzing inventions in a team setting. All new challenges are explored when you take apart electronics to construct an epic insect-themed pinball machine. Early and alumni registration discounts are available! NEW SUMMER REGISTRATION POLICY: Registration closes one week prior to the program beginning. A late fee of $25 will be charged to anyone registering within one week of the start date of a program. No refunds/credits available to those who register within one week of start date.

ALL participants (youth & adults) must have a completed & signed Emergency Information Sheet on file in order to participate in REC programs. Registration over the phone will not be permitted without an emergency sheet on file for the registrant. Online registration requires a Waiver Form be electronically signed, however an Emergency Sheet is still required for all participants regardless of how registration occurs.  Emergency Sheets are available online at the REC website under “FORMS” or in the REC office and can be mailed, dropped off, emailed or faxed to REC.
