Nordic Walking Clinic

Nordic Walking Clinic
Nordic Walking is a type of walking that engages the entire body and can be enjoyed by everyone. It was developed by Cross Country Skiers who wanted to stay in
condition during the warmer months. Using the body’s natural motion, Nordic Walking incorporates walking poles (similar to ski poles) into your walk. By using poles, you will increase calorie burn by 40%; poles also add balance and stability as well as help reduce strain on joints.

Nordic walking is a lifelong activity—once you learn the proper form, rhythm and movement and have a set of your own poles, you can enjoy Nordic walking at home,
alone and with friends, and when you travel.

Students can expect an increased sense of well being from Nordic Walking, both physical and emotional. This will be presented as a group activity that encourages
socialization and enjoyment of the outdoors.

Join us for an hour and a half clinic that will teach proper form and fit poles to each participant.
